In Ashgabat, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular government meeting. As part of the event, the leader of the country approved the proposals of the head of MFA Rashid Meredov aimed at strengthening cooperation between the state and authoritative international organizations, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
The country will carry out work on the chairmanship of Turkmenistan in the UN Special Programme for the Economies of Central Asia (SPECA) next year. Ashgabat will develop the relevant concept.
In May of this year, a round table dedicated to digital and green transformation will take place in the state. Local authorities will also take measures to expand ties with the Academy of the World Intellectual Property Organization and the World Trade Organization.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan will actively cooperate with all interested foreign partners in a wide range of areas. He stressed that the country pays special attention to the development of cooperation with the United Nations.
