The participants in the meeting reviewed the current epidemic situation the Republic, the measures taken to curb the spread of the coronavirus, the impact of the pandemic on the prevalence and mortality rates of cardiovascular diseases and the progress on vaccination of citizens of Kyrgyzstan who were residing and working in foreign countries.
The Chairperson of the Republic Task Force to Combat Coronavirus gave one week to the Ministry of Finance to resolve the issue regarding lump-sum payments to health workers who worked in the red zones.
The representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers in the regions and the mayor’s offices of Bishkek and Osh were tasked to respond timely and make decisions about the epidemic situation.
