He noted that Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov could always find a solution in difficult situations and was a creative person.
On May 27, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a sadaka in memory of his father Myalikguly at the Hezreti Omar Mosque in the Parahat-7 residential estate of Ashgabat. As part of the memorial dinner, the leader of the country shared his memories of father, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
Berdimuhamedov noted that the moral and ethical basis of Myalikguly’s character became the university of life for him. During the memorial ceremony on the occasion of the fortieth day after the death of the president’s father, the mufti of Turkmenistan recited the ayats. The ayat-tovirs (prayers for the dead) were recited after the sadaka.
The leader of the country said that his father could always find a solution in difficult situations. When grandfather Berdimuhamed went to the war in 40s, Myalikguly began to write poems that inspired people in difficult times. One of his works «Let’s sow a lot of good seeds!» was published in the local newspaper Ýagty ýol in 1944, added the head of the state.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov thanked everyone for participating in the memorial dinner and asked Allah to accept prayers in memory of his father.
It should be mentioned that Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov passed away at the age of 88 on April 18 this year. He received awards for impeccable service several times.
