Prime Minister of Kazakhstan discusses industrial projects with President at Lukoil

On May 20, Chairman of the Government of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin received President at Lukoil PJSC Vagit Alekperov. They discussed the current situation and the implementation of a number of investment projects in geological exploration and hydrocarbon production, processing and transportation, the press office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported.

The interlocutors reviewed the projects on TCO wellhead pressure expansion and management, development of the Karachaganak area and removal of bottlenecks in the oil pipeline of the CPC (Caspian Pipeline Consortium). They also thoroughly reviewed the operational phase of the Zentralnaya, Zhenis and Al-Farabi projects.

Alekperov reported on continuously increasing manufacturing capacity of the lubricant production plant that was put into operation in Almaty Region in 2019. Currently, the plant produces over 3,000 tonnes of 700 kinds of lubricants per month. Alekperov assured that the plant would reach its design capacity of 100,000 tonnes by 2024.

The Prime Minister highlighted the importance of using modern eco-friendly technologies and ensuring compliance with OSH standards. Mamin also focused on the implementation of social projects.
