The next meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) chaired by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev will take place on May 21. Honorary Chairman of the SEEC, the first President of Kazakhstan Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich are expected to attend the meeting.
President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz-Canel and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will represent their countries that have an observer status at the Eurasian Economic Union at the meeting.
The agenda will focus on key aspects of cooperation within the Union and medium term objectives.
The major issues under discussion include integration interactions among the EAEU members in the post-crisis period and the elimination of barriers in the EAEU internal market.
