A series of terrorist attacks that had led to multiple casualties, most of them schoolchildren, took place in Afghanistan.
On May 10, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of condolences to President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani over the tragic consequences of terrorist attacks in the country, the website of the President of Kazakhstan reported.
The leader of Kazakhstan said he had learnt with great sadness about the multiple victims, most of them schoolchildren, of recent terrorist attacks that had taken place in Kabul, Puli Alam and Logar province.
The President of Kazakhstan noted that he was unanimous completely with the Afghan people and the world community in condemning over this horrendous crime. The Republic of Kazakhstan reaffirmed its sincere solidarity with the Afghan people at this difficult time, the President emphasised.
On behalf of all citizens of Kazakhstan and on his own behalf, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev expressed condolences and sympathy to the Afghan families who had suffered unexpected losses. The leader of Kazakhstan wished a speedy recovery to those who were at the epicentre of events and were injured.
