Tokayev invited Sheikh Al-Thani to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan to anchor high-level agreements.
On May 5, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev and Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani had a telephone conversation. They exchanged the wishes of well-being on the holy month of Ramadan and agreed to promote multifaceted bilateral cooperation, the press office of Akorda reported.
The leaders of the two states indicated that it would be useful to expand multisectoral cooperation based on the existing economic, intellectual and resource potential. In this context, Tokayev proposed that the Governments intensify their activities, construct promising bridges between business circles of the two countries and define the sectoral scope of future investment projects.
The priority areas include the agro-industrial, logistics, geological exploration, mining, financial and banking sectors. Tokayev invited Sheikh Al-Thani to pay an official visit to Kazakhstan to specify the areas of cooperation and anchor high-level agreements.
The Emir of Qatar confirmed that his country was interested in promoting multifaceted relations. He highlighted the need to develop and breathe life into a number of ambitious plans that would be some kind of vanguard of the Kazakhstan-Qatar economic tandem.
