Umurzakov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia discussed the ways of enhancing bilateral cooperation.
On April 26, Minister of Investments and Foreign Economic Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov had a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan Hisham Mishal Al-Suwailem. After the talks, it became know that the delegation of Uzbekistan would visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the press office of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Economic Affairs reported to CentralAsia.news.
The parties discussed important aspects of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation in various spheres of life of the two countries.
The officials exchanged views on the ways of enhancing Uzbekistan-Saudi Arabia relations. In this contest, the emphasis was placed on the need for a next round of consultations between the foreign ministries and meetings of the Business Council and the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade, Economy, Science and Technology, Culture, Sports and Youth.
The officials agreed to meet at this level to ensure the timely and successful implementation of bilateral agreements, joint projects and proposals.
