Various Japanese equipment to be delivered to Turkmenistan

Possibilities of holding the 14th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation in Tokyo were discussed.

On March 25, the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan hosted an online meeting between Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov and Managing Director of Itochu Corporation Hiroyuki Tsubai. The parties considered several issues related to the development of bilateral relations, as well as the holding of the 14th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation in the capital of Japan — Tokyo, as reported by the press office of the ministry.

The sides focused on further supplies of high-quality automotive and earth-moving Japanese equipment to Turkmenistan.

It was noted that cooperation in the field of trade and economy between the countries is developing dynamically and showing good results. Trade and economic relations between the two states are based on the principles of trust and consideration of mutual interests.

It must be added that the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. run by Tatsuya Watanabe also assists in the expansion and operation of the GTL plant for the production of ECO-93 synthetic gasoline located in the Akhal province.
