On March 16, an online meeting of representatives of Turkmen departments, the UIET, the leadership of the French Entrepreneurs Association MEDEF International and top managers of 36 large French companies was held in France with the assistance of the Embassy of Turkmenistan. The parties discussed issues related to the mutually beneficial implementation of common investment projects, as reported by the press office of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.
The meeting participants considered a wide range of issues in the trade and economic spheres. The Turkmen side presented the interlocutors the projects that will be implemented with the participation of foreign enterprises.
Due to the fact that the presentations aroused great interest among French entrepreneurs, Ashgabat announced that it is ready to intensify cooperation in various fields.
In addition, it is known that the successes of the UIET employees do not go unnoticed both in the state and around the world. On March 17, on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of the organization, an exhibition was opened at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the country. The products and services of Turkmen businessmen, clearly demonstrating the participation of the private sector in expanding the economic potential of the region are presented there.
The leader of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also congratulated the workers of the UIET on the holiday, having wished them further success in their work and family well-being.
It must be added that the industrial sector of the state is dynamically developing every year.
