On March 15, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of deputy prime ministers, heads of administrations of the provinces, and Ashgabat. The leader of the country was informed about creation of the electronic platforms for betting on horse racing, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
The software was presented by Deputy Prime Minister Esenmyrad Orazgeldyiev. The official said that the Türkmen atlary state association and the Türkmenaragatnaşyk agency have developed software and a mobile application for making bets in horse races.
Berdimuhamedov considered proposals regarding the name of these web platforms and their logos. The President got acquainted with the corresponding sketches, having made a number of corrections. The head of the state also directed to widely use digital technologies in the horse breeding industry.
It must be added that the order to transfer the betting on horse racing into digital format was given by the leader of the country on December 7 last year. He marked that these innovations will increase the interest of local and foreign connoisseurs in the Turkmen equestrian sport.
