The leader of Turkmenistan marked the importance of bringing industrial enterprises built at the expense of the relevant funds to their full capacity.
On March 11, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of deputy prime ministers, members of the State Security Council, and heads of several state departments. He noted the importance of timely repayment of foreign credit funds in the fuel and energy complex, as reported by «Turkmenistan Today».
During the meeting, it was noted that the fuel and energy complex attracted foreign loans of more than 8.8 billion dollars, 93% of which had already been used. Berdimuhamedov directed to strengthen the production capacities of the state concerns Türkmengaz and Türkmennebit, introduce digital technologies into their work in order to repay foreign loans on time.
The head of Türkmengaz Batyr Amanov said that this process will be realized through the sale of additional volumes of natural and liquefied gas, sulfur, ECO-93 gasoline in foreign markets.
Instructions regarding the repayment of foreign loans were also given to the head of the Türkmengeologiýa state corporation, Merdan Rozyyev. The Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan, Batyr Atdayev, was instructed to regularly monitor the measures taken by state structures in the fuel and energy sector in order to repay the relevant loans and to ensure the legality of the relevant activities.
The head of the state also gave orders to Deputy Prime Minister Shakhym Abdrakhmanov, who is responsible for the fuel and energy complex, to analyze the self-sufficiency of projects in the relevant area and study the possibilities of the market for selling finished products. Special attention was paid to the need for improving the professional qualifications of specialists in the corresponding field.
