It will host roundtable meetings, conferences and other science events, an employee of the Academy Shukron Radjabova says.

The SCO Friendship and Cooperation Centre opened at the initiative of President Emomali Rahmon. Last year, Tajikistan assumed the presidency of the SCO from the Russian Federation. On September 16-17, Dushanbe will host a summit of the heads of SCO Member States. Currently, the international organisation unites 18 states.
