NAC Kazatomprom JSC has achieved high production levels for the third year in a row.
On February 9, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev had a meeting with Chairman of the Managing Board of the National Atomic Company Kazatomprom JSC Galymzhan Pirmatov, who reported to the leader of Kazakhstan on the key achievements in the past year and the action plans for this year, the press department of Akorda reports.
Pirmatov said Kazatomprom had completed the key tasks in the major areas of activity in 2020.
The objectives set for this period had been met, despite particular challenges posed by the epidemiological situation. The Chairman of the Management Board said Kazakhstan’s nuclear industry had achieved high production levels for the third year in a row and retained the status of the world’s leading uranium exporter.
The Consortium aims not only to respond to external demands, but also to tackle internal issues in line with the times. The Chairman of the Managing Board reported on the ongoing adoption of digital technologies and improvement and implementation of business ideas. He said the construction of a modern plant that would produce fuel assemblies was nearing completion.
