The leaders of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan discussed the schedule of high-level meetings as part of the political agenda.
On February 1, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev had a telephone conversation with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov. Exchanging views, the leaders of the two countries discussed the aspects of Japarov’s official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan. The press office of Akorda reported that the Kyrgyz side had initiated the telephone conversation.
Discussing the political aspects of bilateral relations, the leaders of the two states reviewed the schedule of high-level meetings, as well as preparatory work for the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan.
Tokayev congratulated once again Sadyr Japarov on assuming the office of President of Kyrgyzstan and wished him great achievements in state activity. The President of Kazakhstan wished the well-being and prosperity to the fraternal people of Kyrgyzstan.
The leaders of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan highlighted the inviolability of close bilateral relations and expressed their readiness to promote friendship, cherish traditional good neighbourliness and foster strategic partnership. Tokayev and Japarov confirmed their willingness to give new incentives to bilateral interaction and collaboration on international platforms.
Sadyr Japarov warmly thanked the President of Kazakhstan for his kind wishes and conveyed his gratitude to Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev for the letter of congratulation on his inauguration.
