Sadyr Japarov sworn in as President of Kyrgyzstan

All guests invited to the inauguration ceremony tested positive for COVID-19.

On January 28, Sadyr Japarov has officially become President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. During the inauguration ceremony, which took place at the Toktogul Satylganov Kyrgyz National Philharmonic, Japarov gave a speech. The event was organized in compliance with all sanitary and epidemiological requirements. In this regard, all the guests passed PCR tests for coronavirus, all the results were negative, as reported by the press office of the president.

The new head of the state said that serving and being responsible for the fate of his people is above all for him. At the inauguration, the leader of the country underlined that his first decrees would be dedicated to the economic rehabilitation of the country and the activation of processes aimed at the development of the relevant sphere.

He admitted that the current condition of the state is not good. Japarov noted that Kyrgyzstan is starting to pay off its external debt in the amount of about 5 billion dollars, accumulated over the past 30 years.
