Novikov expressed hope that by the end of winter the gold recovery plant will produce the first gold bar.
On January 6, during a working visit to Talas region the acting head of the government of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Artyom Novikov visited a gold mining enterprise at the Jerui deposit. The Deputy Prime Minister was informed that the factory will be launched by the end of January — beginning of February this year, as reported by the press office of the Kyrgyz Cabinet.
Novikov expressed hope that by the end of winter the enterprise will produce its first gold bar. The Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the government will provide the necessary support for the work of the factory.
According to the information provided, restoration work has been intensified at the field, and the construction of the factory has been resumed.
Novikov had a wide dialogue with the management of the Altyn Alliance company. All disputes between investors, government, and residents have been resolved.
It must be added that during the October events in Kyrgyzstan, Jerui was looted, special equipment and a gold recovery factory were burnt.
