Tajik parliamentarians to discuss life’s problems of voters

Parliamentarians will learn about the social and economic situation of citizens and inform them of regulatory innovations.

Deputies of the lower house of Parliament of Tajikistan will conduct meetings with citizens across the country to discuss their concerns and problems and inform them of regulatory innovations. The meetings will take place over a number of days until January 9, the press office of Parliament reported on January 4.  

In particular, members of Parliament are planning to hold discussions with the electorate to learn about the social and economic situation of citizens. The meetings will take place in Khatlon Region, Sogd Region, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region and the regions of republican subordination.

Parliamentarians will also inform citizens of regulatory innovations and the financial policy of the Republic. The outcomes of these meetings will be reported to local governments.

As was reported, President Emomali Rahmon decided to postpone his speech at Parliament from December 2020 to January 2021. The leader of the country will set forth the key aspects of foreign and domestic policies in his speech.
