Tajikistan receives 100 mechanical ventilation devices from Kazakhstan

The humanitarian aid was sent in accordance with the instructions of the leader of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev.

On December 22, the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan sent the humanitarian aid including 100 mechanical ventilation devices to Tajikistan. This action was performed in accordance with the instructions of the leader of Kazakhstan Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, the press office of the government agency of Kazakhstan reported on December 23.

Tokayev signed the Order on December 10.  Kokchetav-4P mechanical ventilation devices are manufactured in Kokshetau. They can be installed in an ambulance and used at home.

Earlier, in April 2020, Tajikistan received the humanitarian aid including flour from Kazakhstan. This year, 60 countries have provided humanitarian assistance to the Republic. Tajikistan has received 19,200 tons of humanitarian aid totally worth US$ 45.1 million.

As was reported, 13,071 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the country as of December 23. A total of 89 patients died from the virus, and almost 96% of all COVID-19 patients got well.
