Novikov visits several enterprises in Issyk-Kul region

The Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the infrastructure and social facilities.

On December 23, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Artyom Novikov paid an official visit to the Issyk-Kul region to get acquainted with the work of several enterprises, as reported by the press office of the government of Kyrgyzstan.

First of all, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the logistics center in Balykchy. The construction of the project was partially financed by the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund. The company employs 30 people and has controlled atmosphere storage with a capacity of 2,400 tons.

Novikov also checked the construction of a meat processing plant in Karakol, which is scheduled to open in 2021. Construction of the facility started in August 2020.

The purpose of the enterprise is to create a «meat» cluster, including the creation of a breeding farm, a training center, the attraction of farmers, and the development of a meat market.

The acting prime minister instructed local authorities to establish close cooperation with businessmen and work out the issue of allocating a land plot.
