Mamytkanov calls on Kyrgyz citizens to react to election violations

According to the vice prime minister, in case of the slightest violation, the government will take tough measures.

On December 18, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan Maksat Mamytkanov within a working trip visited Naryn province where he held a meeting on the organization of early presidential elections. The official said that the political event should be held as transparently and honestly as possible and that the government is ready to consolidate the efforts of all branches of the executive branch for that, reported the press office of the Cabinet.

In this regard, Mamytkanov called on citizens of the country to respond to the slightest violations and report on them to the relevant authorities.

The Deputy Prime Minister underlined the importance of preventing vote-buying, the so-called administrative resource, and other violations of the law.

Moreover, the official said that in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, it is important to follow all established sanitary and epidemiological rules, including ensuring health safety at polling stations.
