Kyrgyzstan to increase support for entrepreneurs in regions

As a part of visit to Osh region, Jeenbekov underlined that the volume of soft funds will increase over the years.

On August 13, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov, as part of his working trips around the country, visited the Osh region. He took a tour of a stone-cutting workshop in the Uzgen region. Jeenbekov supported the assistance provided to regional enterprises through soft loans and promised that the volume of the relevant resources would only increase over the years. It was reported to CentralAsia.news by the press office of president of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the head of the enterprise, the workshop was commissioned last year, and the manufactured products are in demand in the local market.

Moreover, products are exported to neighboring countries — Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

The construction of the workshop required 140 million soms. Both own funds and a soft loan from the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund were invested in the organization of the enterprise.

It must be added that the company produces decorative tiles for high-quality construction. The technological process provides environmentally friendly and waste-free production.

In conclusion, the country’s leader highlighted that the resources of financial institutions are allocated to support regional export enterprises on a priority basis.
