Leaders of sports organizations from more than 100 countries took part in the online meeting.
The chairman of the Han Mu Do Martial Arts Federation of Turkmenistan, Orif Buharakov, took part in an online seminar of the Korean martial art. The event was also attended by the heads of relevant sports organizations from more than 100 countries. It was reported by the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper on June 12.
The honored coach of the country passed the preliminary examination for the right to get the 4th dan. Buharakov showed a video where he demonstrated over 400 punches, kicks, and blocks, as well as 60 defense techniques against attack with the use of weapons (knife, stick, sword). It also included counterattacks.
The seminar brought together Han Mu Do representatives from the African, Eurasian and North American continents. Asian countries were represented by trainers from Turkmenistan, Korea, Iran, and Singapore.
It must be added that the title of master of the 3rd dan, received earlier by Buharakov, gives the right to conduct coaching activities in any country of the world. The fourth degree makes its owner an examiner, who evaluates the skills of other athletes.
In Turkmenistan, the martial art of Han Mu Do started to develop since the country got independence. At the moment, there are corresponding classes in all regions. Relevant competitions are regularly held all around the state.
