Turkmen company «Ak-hünji» to receive $1.8 million loan from EBRD

The enterprise which produces foam building materials plans to improve product durability.

Turkmen company «Ak-hünji» which manufactures polystyrene building materials will receive 1.8 million dollars loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The financial resources will be spent on improving product quality. It was reported by the press-office of EBRD on April 13.

The company is one of the largest local producers of various types of decorative ceiling profiles and sandwich panels. With the help of additional funds, the company will initiate the production of decorative floors, ceiling panels and other elements of extruded polystyrene foam. New material will increase the durability of the products.

The relevant project totaling 2.4 million dollars also implies the export of the goods to the international market. Part of the loan will cover the company's working capital needs. Special attention will be drawn to improving the eco-quality of products.

It should be mentioned that the individual enterprise produces 60 types of decorative ceiling profiles, more than 200 types of architectural elements for facade decoration. The raw materials for production are purchased from the largest manufacturers from South Korea, Hungary, and China.
