President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of Prosecutor General of the Republic Kurmankul Zulushev and Minister of Natural Resources Melis Turgunbaev, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan reported.
This was done after the commission under the President’s Administration had followed up on the unlawful actions of the prosecutors who had interfered in the activities of the License Commission under the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision.
The investigation concluded that violations had been committed.
Furthermore, Prosecutor General Zulushev was instructed to remove Deputy Prosecutor General Adyl uulu Kuban from his post and reprimand Head of the Main Department for Anti-Corruption and Supervision over the Execution of Laws at the Prosecutor General’s Office Mirlan Maitpasov. The same sanctions must be applied to Head of the Department for Supervision over the Execution of the Rights of Entrepreneurs and Environmental Laws Alizon Alikulov.
