He thanked for the congratulations on the Chinese New Year and expressed his best wishes to the people of Uzbekistan on the arrival of spring and the New Year according to the solar calendar, the press office of the President of Uzbekistan reported.
«During your recent state visit to China, we held intense and fruitful talks, following which we jointly stated about the development of China-Uzbekistan all-weather comprehensive strategic partnerships in a new era,» the Chairman of the People’s Republic of China said in his message to the leader of Uzbekistan.
Xi Jinping emphasised the importance of promoting relations between China and Uzbekistan ad pledged to strengthen friendship between the two peoples and work together to build a «China-Uzbekistan community of shared destiny».
