On March 18, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential election and his re-election, Turkmenistan: Golden Age e-Newspaper reports.
The President of Turkmenistan said Vladimir Putin’s re-election testifies to the high trust placed on him and recognition of his services to the country. Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed belief that the country under the leadership of his Russian counterpart will achieve even greater economic progress and prosper for the benefit of all the people.
«Your professionalism and extensive political experience will serve to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation,» the President of Turkmenistan said.
The Turkmen side highly evaluated the level of bilateral relations between Ashgabat and Moscow, which vividly illustrates fruitful partnerships and close bilateral interaction in a wide range of areas.
