On March 17, Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea Kim Jin-pyo said his country is ready to promote and strengthen relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries at a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan Begench Durdyev, the press office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reported.
The interlocutors noted the importance of implementing the high-level agreements between Turkmenistan and South Korea.
As was reported, a delegation led by Chairperson of Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova paid a working visit to Seoul to participate in the First Central Asia-Republic of Korea Meeting of Speakers of Parliaments in September 2023.
Gulmanova held talks with Speaker of the National Assembly of South Korea Kim Jin-pyo on the sidelines of the forum. The interlocutors noted the positive dynamics in the development of interparliamentary dialogue between the two countries and agreed to foster it.
