On March 4, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory telegram to Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Turkmenistan: Golden Age e-Newspaper reports.
The President wished good health, happiness and wellbeing to the Chairman of the Government of Pakistan and peace, progress and prosperity to the brotherly people of the Republic.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed belief that Pakistan under the Government led by Shehbaz Sharif will achieve progress in the political, social and economic spheres and raise its authority in the international arena.
The President highly evaluated relations between the two countries, based on the ties of friendship and brotherhood. The Turkmen side expressed readiness to further strengthen and deepen bilateral ties.
