On February 29, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov on his 67th birthday, Neutral Turkmenistan Newspaper reports.
The President wished the leader of Tatarstan good health, family well-being, happiness and every success in all his endeavours.
Rustam Minnikhanov visited Turkmenistan for a one-day working visit in April 2023, when he met with Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The interlocutors discussed the current state and prospects for expanding mutually beneficial partnerships. They highlighted the need to increase bilateral trade, noting that bilateral commodity turnover in 2022 did not conform to the mutual potential.
The interlocutors also discussed the mechanical engineering and oil refining projects implemented in Turkmenistan by the major companies from Tatarstan.
