On February 23, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the measures taken by the Türkmennebit State Concern to increase oil production through developing new oil deposits and modernising production facilities, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers noted that specialists of the Türkmennebit State Concern continue working to step up oil production in the prospective western oil and gas fields. New wells are drilled in compliance with schedule and in line with geological forecast. Drillers and oil workers utilise advanced methods and global practices to explore new wells and develop existing fields. Repair work is underway, and drilling rigs are stuffed with specialized equipment.
Speaking about the importance of increasing oil production, the President noted that the Türkmennebit State Concern should conduct science-based activities and gave specific instructions to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Amanov in this regard.
