President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov congratulated citizens of the Republic on Defender of the Fatherland Day, the press office of the President of Kyrgyzstan published the speech.
In his speech, Japarov emphasised that defending the Fatherland is a sacred duty and a noble goal for everyone. He highlighted the importance of remembering and showing respect to heroes and their exploits: they sacrificed their lives, and it is everyone’s duty to know their names from childhood.
Noting that Kyrgyzstan is moving along the path of development and improving the combat readiness of the Armed Forces, the President emphasised the need to prepare for new challenges and emerging threats in the modern conditions of globalization. He said not only brave men, but also women, who have chosen the profession of defender of the Fatherland, protect the borders of the Fatherland. Japarov expressed hope that peace will be maintained in Kyrgyzstan thanks to the devotion and readiness to overcome difficulties of all the defenders of the country.
