RF Ambassador to Dushanbe Semyon Grigoriev met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Mukhriddin to discuss relations between the two countries, TASS reported the details.
The interlocutors agreed on a schedule of contacts between the ministries of foreign affairs. The RF Embassy reported that the meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere inherent of Russian-Tajik relations.
The representatives of the ministries of foreign affairs discussed Moscow-Dushanbe relations and considered new prospects of bilateral cooperation.
As was reported, in February, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan emphasised that Russia is ready to cooperate with the Republic and noted the intensification of contacts at all levels. During the telephone conversation, the foreign ministers of Russia and Tajikistan discussed strategic partnerships and exchanged views on international issues.
