On February 21, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held talks with UAE Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Ashgabat. The interlocutors exchanged views on key areas of cooperation, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan noted that high-level contacts play a special role in strengthening bilateral relations. Regular high-level meetings and talks allow identifying current vectors of cooperation for a long term and developing joint steps to implement the agreements reached.
The interlocutors focused on humanitarian cooperation. In this context, they noted that cooperation in science, education, culture and sports is an important factor in bringing the two peoples closer together and strengthening the ties of friendship and mutual understanding.
The President and the foreign guest expressed belief that fruitful interstate relations will continue to develop for the benefit of the two peoples.
