Kazakh graduates invited to take part in A. N. Tupolev International Olympiad

Graduates of secondary educational institutions in Kazakhstan are invited to take part in A. N. Tupolev International Multi-Subject Olympiad for the CIS countries, the press office of KNITU-KAI named after the legendary Soviet aircraft designer reports. The participation will be useful not only for the applicant’s portfolio, but also for a candidate for admission to this university.

According to the University led by Timur Alibaev, «The results of the final round of the Olympiad for applicants from the CIS countries can be considered when admitting to KNRTU-KAI on a state-funded (grant) places.»

The representatives of the educational institution noted that the intellectual contest is intended only for CIS citizens; Russian graduates can try their hand at other similar events.

Participants in the Olympiad can register until April 30 (follow the link). The final date of the extramural qualifying round is May 1, 2024; the extramural/in-person final round will last from May 1 to June 20. The profile subjects of the qualifying round are mathematics and Russian language, and those of the final round are physics and/or computer science.

Kazakhstan hosts three sites for the in-person final round: the INTELLECT Physics and Mathematics Centre (Astana, 26, Imanova St., office 207), the Garant Centre of Educational Services (Aktobe, 49, 1st microdistrict) and the Gaudeamus International Educational Holding (Uralsk, 22, Chapaeva St.).

KAI was founded in 1932 as the Kazan Aviation Technical Institute. Today it is a large research and technical centre that conducts research in a wide range of areas, including innovative ones. KNITU-KAI is one of the largest technical universities in Russia.
