President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan and on his own behalf, expressed the heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe on Independence Day, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reported.
Taking the opportunity, the President of Turkmenistan wished good health and happiness to Ranil Wickremesinghe and peace, further progress and prosperity to the people of Sri Lanka.
As was reported, on February 2, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Shalar Geldynazarov held talks with State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka Tharaka Balasuriya. The interlocutors discussed expanding inter-parliamentary contacts, as well as cooperation in the energy, transport, textile, tourism and education sectors.
