President of Tajikistan urges to stockpile food for 2 years

He noted that the growth in food demand has become a pressing issue of our time, the Khovar National News Agency reported.

Rahmon said this warning is based on global uncertainty analysis, including supply chain disruptions and continuously rising food prices. The President of Tajikistan also noted that climate change, global warming, deteriorating socio-economic situation and population growth have become factors contributing to the increase in food demand.
