President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon met with Chairman of the Board of Nebras Power Mohammed Nasser Al-Hajri during his state visit to Qatar, the press office of the President of Tajikistan reported the details.
Rahmon noted that the meeting was important for promoting trade, economic and investment cooperation between Tajikistan and Qatar. The President of the Republic emphasised the renewable energy capacity of his country, noting that the Government adopted the Green Economy Development Strategy until 2037.
Rahmon added that Tajikistan is actively implementing measures to generate solar and wind power. He invited Qatar to explore investment opportunities in the renewable energy sectors. This will make a significant contribution to the implementation of priority projects in mutual interests.
