Rossotrudnichestvo helps supply books to high-mountain school in Kyrgyzstan

With assistance from the Russian House in Bishkek, a batch of books from the Russian Humanitarian Mission (RGM) was delivered to the high-mountainous Kyrgyz village of Kyzyl-Suu on the last day of 2023, the Telegram channel of Rossotrudnichestvo reports the details.

According to the Russian House in Bishkek, headed by Albert Zulkharneev, the teachers from Sadyrbek Abdrakmanov school contacted the RGM last autumn. They asked for assistance — to replenish the school library with new books.

On December 31, over 300 books in the Russian language were delivered to the school. These include the works by Russian classics and modern authors, textbooks for schoolchildren and children’s books.

The last time books were delivered to the school in Kyzyl-Suu village was in 2021. These books helped school children prepare for and win the history competition «Russia and Kyrgyzstan: Territory of Friendship and Trust». They won the Grand Prix — a tour to Moscow.
