On January 12, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov led a government meeting, during which he emphasised the importance attached to the continuous improvement of the science and education sectors and a large-scale work being done in the country to develop them, the Turkmenistan: Today National News Agency reports.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of science, education and healthcare Nurmuhammet Amannepesov reported on the rules for admission to postgraduate and doctoral studies at research institutions and institutions of higher education in the country, clinical studies and academic degrees, based on the proposals from the ministries, departments, research institutes and institutions of higher education.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported that the government agencies have done tremendous work to bring up a new generation of young scientists in management in the digital economy and train engineers, technologists, doctors and other specialists proficient in innovative technologies.
Commenting on the report, the President gave Amannepesov specific instructions on the improvement of the science and education sectors.
