On January 12, Minister of Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov participated in a government meeting, during which he reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the draft 2024 work plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Turkmenistan: Today National News Agency reported.
The Minister said the document was drafted in compliance with the Programme «The Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state: the National Social and Economic Development Programme of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052».
The document is aimed at further implementing the legal status of permanent neutrality, expanding the foreign policy and economic relations, promoting sustainable development and further humanizing international relations.
Commenting on the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised that Turkmenistan will continue to pursue the chosen foreign policy, promote peaceful, good neighbourly relations and successfully implement the «open door» policy.
