President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via videoconference with the velayat hyakims and the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers in charge of the agro-industrial sector. The participants discussed the current situation in the housing and communal services sector and the development of the agricultural sector in the regions of the country, the Turkmenistan: Golden Age State News Agency reported.
The hyakims reported on the measures taken to make sure the heating systems of residential buildings, educational institutions, kindergartens and other social facilities work properly, and household gas, electricity and drinking water are supplied uninterruptedly to consumers.
Commenting on the report, the President instructed the heads of regional administration to monitor the functioning of the housing and communal services sector and make sure all types of housing and communal services are provided to consumers in the regions.
Touching upon the development of the agro-industrial sector, Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave specific instructions on the use of agricultural machinery and units, which will be involved in the spring campaign, as well as the effective coordination of the planting of potatoes, fruits and vegetables.
