President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev addressed a New Year’s Eve message to the people of the country. The press office of the President of the Republic published the President’s message.
Mirziyoyev said 2024 will be the Year of Support for Youth and Business. He noted that the main task is to protect the interests of the people and build a strong economy. In the new year, special attention will be paid to attracting foreign investment, creating broad opportunities for entrepreneurship and private property, promoting science, innovation and the IT sector and developing «green» and digital technologies.
The President of Uzbekistan noted that strengthening independence of the country and combat capability of the armed forces will remain a priority. Mirziyoyev said the emphasis will be placed on creating new jobs and increasing incomes of the people.
The President of the Republic expressed gratitude to the people of Uzbekistan for the achievements and called on everyone to mobilise forces and capacities to build New Uzbekistan.
