On December 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Order authorising to present cars to the coaches and gold medallists of the World Kurash Championships, Turkmenistan: Golden Age e-Newspaper reports.
The athletes, who had performed brilliantly at the World Kurash Championships in late November, received a Toyota Camry V6 and a Toyota Fortuner SR5 as a gift from the President. A kurash coach from the higher sports school of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan Dortguly Tejenov and a coach and teacher from sports school 7 of the Lebap Velayat Main Department for Physical Culture and Sports Shirin Kubaeva from Turkmenabat received awards.
The winners of the World Kurash Championships — Vepa Avlyagulyev (under 60 kg weight category), Dayanch Omirov (under 81 kg weight category), Dinara Rozykulova (under 63 kg weight category), Mariya Lokhova (under 70 kg weight category) and Sabina Kadyrova (under 78 kg weight category) received cars.
The Arkadag City Hyakimlik presented a MAN bus to the youngest football club of Turkmenistan Arkadag on behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The club received the award for the victory in the Turkmenistan Football Championships and the Turkmenistan Cup.
