A ceremony of handing over 2 ambulances for the hospitals in Isfara town took place at the Sughd Region Khukumat. The vehicles were donated last week, the press office of the RF Embassy in Tajikistan reported in its Telegram channel.
The ceremony was organised in the framework of the UNDP project «Accelerating Post COVID-19 Economic Recovery through Improved Livelihood, Employability, and Regional Cooperation in Ferghana Valley», funded by the RF Government.
The representatives of the local authorities, including Head of Sughd Region Rajabboy Ahmadzoda and Mayor of Isfara Bakhovaddin Bakhodurzoda, and Acting Consul General of the Russian Federation in Khojent Maksim Kobzar attended the ceremony.
The vehicles are stuffed with medical equipment and will provide emergency care at the healthcare institutions in Isfara town.
