President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated the players of FC Arkadag on their unconditional victory in the Supreme League and the Turkmenistan Football Cup, Turkmenistan: Golden Age e-Newspaper reports.
Chairman of the State Committee for Arkadag City Construction under the President of Turkmenistan Deryageldi Orazov informed the President about the victory of FC Arkadag during the online meeting. He emphasised that this football club will achieve even greater success and raise the sporting prestige of Turkmenistan worldwide in the future.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished FC Arkadag new victories and signed the ball at Orazov’s request.
FC Arkadag finished in the national championships without a single defeat. The club won the Turkmenistan Cup, after defeating FC Ahal — the last year’s winner and two-time Champions League participant.
FC Arkadag was founded in the spring of 2023 at the initiative of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who contributed to design of the club logo and uniform.
