Russia to build theatre and education centre in Tajikistan

The Russia-Tajikistan Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation held a meeting on the platform of the Russia International Exhibition in Moscow. Deputy Chairman of the RF Government Marat Khusnullin and Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kohir Rasulzoda held talks and signed documents, the press office of the RF Government reported.

Khusnullin noted that RF President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin take an active part in promoting bilateral cooperation, and the Tajik side shows great attention to cooperation. The teams of the two countries have solved many problems and identified new promising areas of development through close cooperation.

In 2024, the two countries are set to work together in many areas. These include tourism, transport corridors, bilateral trade and cooperation in culture. The intergovernmental agreements on the construction and operation of an education centre for gifted children in Dushanbe and the Vladimir Mayakovsky Drama Theatre were signed during the exhibition.
