Tajikistan reaches agreement on training specialists at Russian university

The Russian university will cooperate with Tajikistan. The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) and the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan (NANT) signed an agreement. This historic agreement is the first for RANEPA as part of cooperation with the academies of sciences in the Central Asian countries, Sputnik reports.

RANEPA Vice-Rector Polina Nemirovchenko, who is on a visit to Dushanbe, shared information about the forthcoming work. She noted that the main aim of partnerships for the Russian Presidential Academy is to promote cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration and other universities in Tajikistan.

The agreement envisages increasing the number of students enrolled in higher and vocational education programmes. The universities will train research and education specialists as well. It is planned to develop joint projects. Students will have an opportunity to do internships abroad.
