The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyzstan-China Investment Holding signed an investment agreement for the implementation of the Eurasian Trade and Logistics Complex project in Chui Region. The total investment exceeds $700 million, the press office of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Chaiman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov expressed satisfaction with the agreements reached with the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and discussed the possibility of Chinese investment in the energy industry and renewable energy projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
«Today, Kyrgyzstan and China have intensified comprehensive cooperation in many areas, and this undoubtedly illustrates the high prospects ofa our bilateral cooperation,» Akylbek Zhaparov said.
The Eurasian Trade and Logistics Complex investment project envisages building a trade city, an international exhibition centre, a warehouse and logistics centre with bonded zones, marketplaces for heavy equipment and housing and hotel complexes.
