President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov heard a report from Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov, who is in charge of the fuel and energy sector, during a government meeting. The President ordered that the adoption of advanced technologies at the gas production facilities of the Türkmengaz State Concern and their supply with material and technical resources be under continuous control, Turkmenistan: Golden Age e-Newspaper reports.
Batyr Amanov reported that practical steps are being taken to modernise and provide the enterprises of the State Concern with material and technical resources. Consistent measures are being taken to increase gas production, produce high-quality eco-friendly products and sell them on world markets.
The Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers reported on the work done in the oil and gas industry for 10 months of 2023. Amanov said the Turkmenneft State Concern fulfilled the oil production plan 100 percent, the oil refining plan 100.5 percent, the gasoline production plan 105.5 percent, the diesel fuel production plan 104.6 percent, the lubricating oil production plan 102.5 percent and the liquefied gas production plan 109.8 percent.
